A licensed or pre-licensed therapist or intern who is visually impaired or blind?
Looking for support and practical information from others who are coping with the same challenges.
A therapist who is interested in growth and personal enrichment while developing new professional relationships.

Vickie Parker MS, MFT has created telephone counseling support groups for the criteria listed above. Vickie, also legally blind, has been in private practice for the last seven years and has faced these challenges. Come share your experiences!

Topics may include:

Developing relationships in the community
Creating collegial relationships
Brain storming ideas for marketing
Building networking skills
Sharing social and communication skills that work
Working through and sharing experiences and feelings arising from being a visually impaired therapist in a sighted world
Sharing management and business strategies

Times: Monday or Thursday mornings Meetings: Occur once a month via telephone Fee: $40/session Beginning: Early January
